You will join a new department within Grundfos R&T which is responsible for providing technical support to our business development. We create mock-ups and early prototypes for early market testing in order to prove feasibility of a business idea. This is the first position in a newly formed function within R&T, and you will refer to Senior Project Portfolio Manager, Peter Bertelsen. “The team will be part of a frontloading function where market pull meets technology push. In-house developed technologies are combined with sourced technology, open innovation, external trends and user insights, and there is room for experimentation and new ideas,” Peter says. Hvad drejer jobbet sig om? As SW Entrepreneur, your main responsibility will be to build early concept prototypes by connecting existing components, products and data into new features or a new solution. You will focus on adding connectivity and data representation to the solution. Together with the Frontloading Portfolio Manager, you will define and prioritise tasks in close dialogue with market segments. Further, you can draw on support from from internal and external networks in order to build and test concepts very fast and agile. “When creating solutions, it is important that you can keep your focus on the fact that your solutions are temporary mock-ups and not final products. In return, this means that you will be able to see immediate results of your work as there is a very short loop between your solutions and the market test,” Peter explains. Hvad skal der til for at ansøge? You are a creative Software Engineer with knowledge of hardware. Experience with embedded software for different real time environments and user interfaces is a must. Further, you have knowledge of iOS, Android, Matlab, Linux, SoftPLC, Java, Simulink, LUA, TCP/IP, database technologies, XML and HTML. You speak and write English fluently. “On a personal level, we are looking for someone who can work in an iterative manner and change direction based on feedback. You will collaborate with many stakeholder in Grundfos, so good communication skills are essential. Also, you have an entrepreneurial spirit and are able to gather needed information in order to demonstrate an idea to a simple solution,” Peter finishes. https://www.facebook.com/GrundfosEngineering.
