Can you handle complex analytical challenges in a diverse set of stakeholders and suppliers? Then, you might be the Supply Manager we are looking for in our Printed Pack Supply team.

 

About The Department

The Printed Pack Supply team is part of the Sourcing Organisation. We are responsible for planning, purchasing, warehousing and distribution of the thousands of materials going into Novo Nordisk production worldwide. Our goal is to ensure reliable supply of secondary packaging materials in regulatory compliance at a competitive cost to our manufacturing sites.

 

You will join a dynamic team, consisting of dedicated supply planners and supply managers. Our team is responsible for driving the inbound supply chain towards becoming more robust, effective and efficient.

 

The position

You will be vendor responsible and you will be driving improvement projects within the Printed Pack Category, and across the inbound supply chain with the purpose of enabling supply of packaging materials. The scope of the projects or changes can vary, e.g. capacity planning towards the suppliers, demand planning towards the packaging sites or forecasting process development.

 

You are expected to identify better practices, drive process improvements and act as a role model in the category and department. Internally you will be managing stakeholders on all levels of the organisation. Externally you will be managing our supplier. Further, you will be managing the cross-organisational category team.

 

In essence, this is a job with a high degree of independence and where results are achieved through collaboration with your stakeholders. The position is temporary for 24 months but will be permanent if the opportunity arises.

 

Qualifications

You hold a MSc in Supply Chain Management, Engineering degree or similar and have 3-5 years of relevant experience with vendor management, managing supply chains or production. A solid business understanding and experience with project management is a must.

 

You have a strong drive and you enjoy setting direction. You are able to prioritise among your tasks independently and plan ahead.  It motivates you to continuously look for ways to improve and optimise how we manage our supply chain. As you will be dealing with a lot of different stakeholders, internal as well as external, it is essential that you enjoy creating and maintaining relations with all levels of the organisation and that you have strong communication and negotiation skills. You are also skilled at presenting complex information and decision material in a simple and clear manner. You have proficiency in both written and spoken English.
