AGC Biologics is a leading global contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) in continuous growth and we are currently looking for a number of new colleagues to join us in Manufacturing. If you would like to work hands-on with a wide variety of different biopharmaceutical production processes, innovative technologies and state-of-the-art facilities, this position will definitely be something for you. 

The position

You will become part of our manufacturing area consisting of five production lines, which produce pre-clinical, clinical and commercial products for a wide variety of different customers coming from around the world. You will be part of a group of highly dedicated scientists and technicians working with various stakeholders like QA, QC and Development.

You will work in a dynamic GMP environment with batch execution, batch documentation and optimization of process flows.  In this role you will work on the shop floor during production and be engaged securing batch readiness and release, and you will take part in the maintenance of equipment and optimization of processes.

As we employ state of the art technologies both within upstream- and downstream production, your preferred individual development path is huge. Upstream capacity ranges from 100L – 12.000L scale and we have both microbial fermentation and mammalian cultivations. Downstream unit operations ranges from centrifugation, homogenization, filtration, TFF, chromatography and UNICORN bioprocesses.  

Qualifications 
We imagine that you have:

  • a technical education (B.Sc., technician, operator etc.)

  • +4 years of experience within the pharmaceutical industry  

  • experience working in a cGMP environment

  • experience with process optimization (LEAN)

  • an interest in maintenance of equipment

  • excellent collaboration skills

  • the ability to speak and write English

In addition, it is important that you thrive in a dynamic and fast pace environment where changes occur on a short notice.

As we periodically are working in shifts during production, it is a prerequisite that you at times are able to work outside normal work hours.
