Do you have strong stakeholder management skills? Then the position as Supply chain Planning Specialist might be exactly what you are looking for. Global Service, Supply Chain Operations, Service SIOP, Planning Our Planning department resides in the business unit Global Service in Vestas. The department is overall responsible for the operational planning of the Vestas service supply chain and as such one of the key players in the global organization. The department operates out of three locations: Aarhus (Denmark), Beijing (China) and Chennai (India). Planning is responsible for setting the correct safety stocks and planning parameters for spare parts throughout the Vestas distribution channel to ensure that On Time Delivery targets are met in the most efficient way. The main objectives for the department is to ensure efficient safety stock settings, perform accurate master planning on our repair loops and optimize the failure rate calculations for our parts. The responsibility of the Planning department is to forecast and plan 40.000+ materials on 100+ stock holding locations across the globe. Placed in the center of the service organization and with responsibility for planning the stock levels in the distribution network a position with Planning will ensure the right candidate opportunities to work with many aspects of the service supply chain and direct contact with a large array of internal stakeholders across the supply chain. Responsibilities: We are looking for an energetic, well-structured Supply Chain Planning Specialist with good analytical skills and flair for stakeholder management to join our team in Denmark. This position will be responsible for optimization, assessment and development of existing planning processes, systems and tools, participation in cross-functional SCM development activities within Vestas and play a vital role in ensuring operational alignment and optimization of internal procedures across our three geographical locations. Support and develop the existing planning methods and processes within the Planning team Be a key player in defining the future planning setup within the planning area including design of systems, processes and instructions Support the operational team in the planning department Participate on cross-functional optimization initiatives representing the planning department. The aim of these forums is to optimize the end-to-end service value chain and your task is to co-drive these efforts and ensure any planning relevant implications derived from proposed changes are considered Drive and lead optimization projects within our own team Anchor and develop our reporting structure Conduct analysis to support decision making both on operational and tactical level. Qualifications: The ideal candidate has 5+ years operational experience with forecasting and/or supply chain planning and has delivered strong business results within this area The ideal candidate has a candidate / master degree within Supply Chain Management, Business administration or similar You have initiated and driven supply chain optimization initiatives within the forecasting and planning area preferably within a service supply chain You are a team player and you enjoy teaching and supporting your colleague You are experienced with structuring and analyzing large data pulled from multiple sources You are experienced in stakeholder management at both the operational and tactical level of the organization You thrive in an international environment and are flexible to the extend it is required when having colleagues in NCSA and APAC Region You are able to work independent on your daily assignments You are structured and understand the need to align processes across the value chain as well as internally within the Planning Team.
