Hvad tilbyder vi? Would you like to influence and develop the supply chain setup for Grundfos involving production sites worldwide? You will join the NPI – New Product Development department consisting of 6 Project Managers running a number of projects all based in the Bjerringbro/Danish facilities. You will refer to Department Head, Lars Pauli Christiansen. “We are a team of 6 dedicated professionals all running our separate projects. Though we work independently on our projects, we still have a strong team spirit and confer with one another on process development. Sparring and working in a goal- and quality-oriented manner is essential to us as our organisation is undergoing changes. Thus, we need to be prepared for new initiatives,” Lars explains. Hvad drejer jobbet sig om? Your primary purpose is to develop the supply chain and act as logistical support for the Project Managers. You develop the supply chain and the logistical concepts. Further, you secure effective planning and execution of review and test series. Finally, you establish a connection between development, planning and logistics to ensure that design and processes are aligned. In your project tem, your responsibility will be to drive the logistic and planning team. You do so by getting commitment to and creating logistical concepts – this means involving the relevant factories in planning and ensuring that the planners on location commit to the plans. Then, you follow up on plans, production and test series, and take appropriate measures if corrections need to be carried out. “The challenge will be to lead a project without leading the people. You will be in contact with Project Managers, logistical departments, sub-suppliers, and factories, internally in Grundfos and abroad, and assigntasks which require feedback. Your good communication skills will be key when retrieving the feedback from Project Managers and planners that will help you drive your supply chain development,” Lars says. Hvad skal der til for at ansøge? You are a Logistical Engineer with 2-3 years of experience, e.g. as a Planner for a factory. Further, you have solid experience in SAP. It is a plus if you have previously managed projects or teams. You speak and write English fluently. “On a personal level, you are outgoing and an excellent communicator, as you will be in touch with people from all levels of Grundfos. We are a busy department, so you need to possess a sense of urgency and a drive that leads you towards our goals even if your work day at times is unpredictable due to project changes,” Lars says.
