For our Quality Management & Environment, Health and Safety department we are looking for a Quality Inspector to strengthen our consistent focus on quality and work environment. Your primary responsibility as a Quality Inspector will be to implement, manage and maintain the quality processes, procedures and quality improvement processes in accordance with Siemens’ policies. You are guaranteed a varied working day in an exciting and international environment. What are my responsibilities? Conduct quality inspections of Siemens wind turbines worldwide in collaboration with Siemens’ Quality departments worldwide Completion of inspection reports and checklists, which will be handed over to the site manager Support site management in following up on the close-out of action items on the quality inspection checklist. Register action items in our non-conformance system, KRIMA Support and train service technicians in the performance of on-site quality checks Inspection and follow-up on turbine upgrades/retrofits in close collaboration with the retrofit team Participation in quality improvement projects in collaboration with relevant department stakeholders throughout the Siemens organization Develop and maintain turbine type specific quality inspection checklists Different ad hoc tasks for the Quality Management Department globally In a position like this you should expect a split of 50/50 between time spent in the office and onsite/abroad. What do I need to qualify for this job? You are experienced within the ISO 9001 quality standard You are familiar with the wind power industry Detail-oriented and well-organized are words that characterize you, especially in the design of checklists and written reports You can easily navigate in a dynamic environment and you are flexible when it comes to travelling and visiting sites all over the world You possess strong interpersonal skills and you are an excellent communicator with the ability to interact at all levels of an international organization. Furthermore you are fluent in English, orally as well as in writing In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.
