Description Do you want to be a central part of the SW development of one of the most promising Radiometer products – the AQT? We are looking for an experienced R&D manager ready to drive the SW activities and be responsible for the team of 8 direct reports and 11 external contractors. The software being a part of a complex medical device, you will work closely with experts within hardware, chemistry, technical support, marketing, QA/RA and in some cases directly with our customers. Your main challenge in this position will be to efficiently and transparently balance short term priorities (e.g. issue management) and long term goals (e.g. executing on long-term strategic objectives). Travel activity up to 10% of your work time must be expected. Responsibility Your major focus area for the next 12 months will be: •Delivery: Delivering new features and maintenance to software releases according to agreed roadmap, thereby delivering customer value. •Quality: Efficiently managing incoming issues while at the same time improving overall quality e.g. by process improvements •Stakeholder Management: Creating buy-in on decisions and transparency on the team’s execution •Leadership/people management: Ensuring a highly engaged team, where competences and processes are improved on an ongoing basis. However, we believe that the following formal qualifications will improve your chances of success: •Engineering or computer science (master degree preferred, bachelor degree required). •Track record of successfully completing projects involving several functions and/or cultures in an organization, preferably in the medical device industry (5+ years). •Solid experience of software development, preferably in the Microsoft technology stack (10+ years). •Experience with: ?Managing teams (3+ years). ?Quality assurance, design control and FDA requirements. ?Sustaining products currently on the market. ?Scrum and agile software project management. ?Working with off-shore teams. •Fluent English is a requirement, and Danish would be an asset. We prefer candidates with certification on project management and lean tools.
