Are you passionate about developing solutions that challenge the technology in our solutions/products, and are you the one who bridges the gap between ideas and reality? Then you may be the Software Application and Framework Designer we are looking for. For the R&D function at DEIF, we are looking for a Software Application and Framework Designer, who can help bring us even closer to our technological objectives and will contribute to our continuous supply of high quality, since this is a crucial parameter for our customers to choose us as their preferred supplier of advanced control systems. The job You get to work with designing and developing applications for existing and future product platforms as well as expansion of our framework features. We develop software using agile methods (SCRUM/KANBAN) and a high degree of test automation, and here you will play an important role in relation to developing and refining the methods and work processes. The tasks are to be solved in cooperation with the other experts on our products/solutions, and you must be able to collaborate and communicate across the organisation. You will be part of a core team of four persons at the headquarters in Skive. In R&D, we develop embedded software for our engine and genset control products, coded in C++ and ANSI C on, among others, Linux platforms, fieldbus, CAN, TCP/IP, Modbus, IEC61850. The products may contain security-critical installations where compliance with safety standard IEC61508 is required. The person: We expect that you have your professionalism in order and that you dare bring it into play. You have proved your worth from similar posts, where you have participated in developing and improving applications. You have a sharp eye for the whole picture in development projects, and you can see through contexts and consequences. You have a bachelor/master education within one of the following engineering directions: Electronics, Automation and control, Information and Communication technologies or equivalent level. In addition, we expect that you have solid experience in C++, 00, Design patterns and ANSI C.
