We Offer The position in Global IS Services offers a unique opportunity to become part of an international company with an outlook for further growth. The position is a new position and you’ll get the opportunity to shape the position and further build on your experience. You will be joining a young IT Infrastructure team of experienced Service Managers, each working with a range of services within a specific area. You will be the focal point for our internal customers, providing operational governance on a range of IT Workplace Services provided to all our Business Units and internal Corporate IS functions, primarily our two application teams. At the same time you will get the opportunity to participate in projects in which you act as the liaison between solution design and the operational partner(s) and as a key player in the complete service lifecycle. We offer you the challenge of helping Maersk Oil IS on the journey towards a global IS organization becoming OneIS. Key Responsibilities The primary goal is to manage and govern Maersk Oil’s global IT Workplace Services. Immediate challenges are to safely transition upcoming project to operations and help defining the future service offerings within the remote access and mobility space. Technical expertise is not a requirement since our focus is on outsourcing the operational responsibility to strategic partners. You will be the primary focal point for the external service providers and understand the value of transparent and clear governance. Some of your overall accountabilities and responsibilities: • developing and maintaining Service Roadmap – in collaboration with BRM and EA – and in accordance with our demand cycle • service budget and associated costs • directing and motivating the support and delivery teams to deliver on overall goals and strategies • ensuring availability and stability of the service, and the overall quality of the service • responsible for Maersk Oil’s Customer Satisfaction related to the IT service(s) in own portfolio • managing agreed engagement and contracts with vendors, and ensure proper contract management is established • applying measurable guidelines and standards including data quality measures to optimize the use of systems, vendors and processes, and ensure proper service reporting You are reporting to the Head of Global IS Services who reports to the global Infrastructure Director. Who we are looking for Your background is a bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or a related discipline with an information technology focus supplemented with an ITIL Certification and at least 3 years of experience in IT service management involving particularly service operations and service transition. Ideally you are experienced in defining service delivery frameworks for infrastructure services. Furthermore we expect you to have experience in: • working with international vendors and contracts • process improvement in a complex environment with a diverse stakeholder population • building consensus and managing stakeholders to continuously improve delivery of services • balancing cross-functional initiatives and the ability to communicate in all layers of the organization. *LI-HJ1 Last application date: 08 February 2016.
