Join us at the intersection between Sales and Marketing to impact how one of the strongest toy brands in the world is executed in stores across the Nordic region.

Be the link between our trade and marketing agendas

As the senior trade marketing manager, you drive end-to-end marketing planning and execution from global and regional direction to local execution. You do so in close collaboration with Brand Marketing, Digital Marketing and Sales across the bricks-and-mortar and e-commerce channels in the Nordic region to ensure that we maximise commercial impact.

Moreover, as a core member of the marketing and sales leadership teams, you will drive the trade marketing agenda across both by connecting customer strategies with the LEGO® Nordic marketing strategy. With up to 30 days of travel in the Nordic region, you will:

• Head up the trade marketing team which currently comprises 4 full-time colleagues and a student worker

• Impact the regional trade marketing agenda to best fit the Nordic needs and opportunities

• Translate Nordic customer and shopper insights into tangible execution plans

• Identify and define key tactical BTL opportunities to drive shopper conversion

• Lead the trade marketing agenda for our biggest Nordic customer

At our Nordic office in Billund, you will join 20 colleagues in our vibrant Nordic Marketing department. Here, you will lead a very diverse and self-driven Nordic Trade Marketing team. We want to raise the bar even higher for trade marketing, and while our mantra is “only the best is good enough”, we never forget that toys should be fun!

Your stakeholder management skills are second to none

We are looking for a natural team leader with a strong end-to-end understanding of sales and marketing. Managing deadlines with military precision, you have prioritisation down to an art, and you are not averse to rolling up your sleeves and pitching in when it is needed. Moreover, you know how to use your excellent stakeholder management skills to ensure that the sales and marketing agendas go hand in hand with our customers’ strategy.

You bring:

• A master’s degree in marketing or business administration

• At least 5-7 years’ experience within trade marketing, shopper marketing and/or sales, ideally within FMCG, including 2+ years’ leadership experience

• A track record of successfully driving trade marketing from strategy over effective marketing campaigns through to execution

• PowerPoint and Excel proficiency and strong analytical skills

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English as well as a Nordic language
