Senior Regulatory Adviser supporting our wind power business on regulatory affairs

Would you like to function as a regulatory knowledge point for our wind power business? Join us as Senior Regulatory Advisor in Group Regulatory Affairs – Wind Power, where you will monitor the regulatory development and energy policies and analyse the consequences of changes in the markets within our footprint. You will engage actively in dialogue with policy makers and internal stakeholders, communicating business impact. The Regulatory Wind Power team is a part of the interface between our business, the policy makers and other stakeholders that determine the framework for offshore wind power. We work in close cooperation with all parts of DONG Energy Wind Power, particularly our regulatory colleagues in key markets and with our market development colleagues. The Regulatory Wind Power team is also a part of Group Regulatory Affairs, which is responsible for the regulatory affairs management in the DONG Energy group. You will be based at our office in Gentofte in the Greater Copenhagen area. You should, however, expect some travelling in relation to your job. Your key tasks will be to •function as the regulatory knowledge point for the Wind Power organisation •conduct regulatory analyses and presentations and provide the basis for decision-making •act as project lead on specific issues and participate in project groups •communicate your expert knowledge on the Danish and European energy policy and regulatory framework •advise Wind Power on the impact of the development of the political and regulatory framework for offshore wind in our new markets, especially the US and Taiwan •align our regulatory positions and communication across our footprint •conduct cross-market regulatory analyses. Your qualifications and core competences include that you •have an MSc degree in economics or political science •preferably have some years of experience with the complexity of the energy sector •are an inspiring team player as well as an efficient and independent analyst •have a flair for bringing new angles of solutions into play •have strong communication skills, especially in English, enabling you to communicate effortlessly with your stakeholders.
