Develop and implement Pricing and Contract Strategies

You will become part of Global Patient Access team in Bio Dermatology Business Unit, that is responsible for launching LEO Pharma’s first biologic in psoriasis. You will be responsible for global pricing & contracting strategy to ensure patient access and long-term profit optimization. You will work closely with global commercial colleagues in headquarter and affiliates to ensure commercial success in an increasing complex payer landscape.

The biologic is sold in both retail and hospital channel. So you will be responsible for launch sequence, setting and managing of list price and price governance, but you will also work with affiliate to ensure pricing strategy towards hospitals and regions. You will work with local payer communication, mapping stakeholders and purchasing behavior, tender and contract planning, competitive intelligence on hospital prices, account segmentation & targeting and tendering & contracting strategies to optimize long term profit.

Your primary tasks will be to:

• Develop pricing and contracting strategy that ensure long term, global profit optimization in close collaboration with the Access and Brand managers
• Manage list-to-net pricing effectively through country pricing policies, pricing governance and business case 
• Manage cross country price impact and price governance 
• Develop and execute supportive pricing analytics, provide inputs to forecasts, manage price performance & competitor price metrics
• Development and implement key account management tools to map decision makers, buying preferences and purchasing processes, account segmentation tools and account strategies for targeting, contracting and value communication in hospital markets
• Support and collaborate with affiliates to implement pricing strategies and find pricing solutions

You will report to the Global Patient Access Director. You can be based at the LEO Pharma headquarters in Ballerup, Greater Copenhagen or in any other European country. You can expect to travel ca. 40 days a year in order to meet with colleagues and affiliates.

Pricing specialist with a flair for market access collaborations

You have min. 6 years of experience from pricing or commercial role(s) in pharma industry.  Your business acumen and your way of working is founded on a sound analytical and commercial focus, and you are always aiming to facilitate a strong link between local markets and global functions. As your responsibilities are broad and your stakeholders many, you can keep the grand overview and address multiple issues, deadlines and interests at the same time, via stakeholder collaborations and influence.

Other requirements:

• MSc/PhD in Economics or Business administration
• Understanding of healthcare systems & funding in major global markets
• Deep understanding of price & game theory and understanding for pricing in markets with many competitors and high number of buying decisions (tenders/contracts)
• Solid background with pharmaceutical pricing, price management, price governance and price analytics
• Experience with pharma hospital market, key account management, hospital tenders and contracting type
• Solid expertise in financial analysis
• Fluency in English (business/ negotiation level)

You transmit your personal enthusiasm to people around you to ensure deliveries according to plans and deadlines.
