As our new Performance Manager, you will join our Performance Management team. The Performance Management team is responsible for improving energy efficiency on Clipper vessels as well as external customers’ vessels. The team works closely together with external and internal customers, typically Operations and Technical Management departments globally. We are expanding our Performance Management services, especially with focus on external customers, and you will be part of and play a crucial role in this growth. A key product in our Performance Management services is COACH, a software system that analyzes the hull, propeller and engine efficiencies and monitors the energy production onboard the vessels. As the new Senior Performance Manager in the COACH team, you will play a vital role in in implementing and developing new tools and features for COACH. You will be part of the COACH management team and therefore have a large influence on the further development. Translating business requirements into value adding solutions As a Performance Manager, you will primarily: - Translate functional and business requirements to fit with COACH - Head research and development identifying improvement to further enhance COACH - Support COACH sales department with existing and new clients’ needs - Cooperate closely with our software architect and our development team in India in the software development process - Test new developments - Help prepare ad hoc analysis for customers - Contribute to daily task forming our services including monthly reporting, KPI setting and conducting meeting with clients to discuss findings However, as we are working in a dynamic environment new focus areas will emerge, and we are looking for a candidate, that welcomes this Experience with vessel performance We are looking for an innovative and dedicated person with +5 years’ of working experience from a similar position. The right candidate has a relevant theoretical background as e.g. marine / mechanical engineer, naval architect or have experience with energy efficiency from the marine sector and experience with data analysis. You are motivated by interaction with colleagues and customers and have a strong focus on delivering results and design solutions that meet the needs of the end-users. You are self-driven and motivated by working in a fast paced environment often with short deadlines.
