Then this is your chance to provide hands-on support to our production and product development team by solving issues related to noise and vibration as our specialist on the area. You get plenty of opportunity to shape your own job and develop your skills in a complex production environment.

Take care of the balancing processes across our production technology
As part of our Advanced Mechanical Engineering Motor department, you will join a team of 25 engineering specialists and project managers. Together, we develop the production technology that enables us to produce 16,000,000 sustainable Grundfos motors every year. You will be responsible for developing, standardising and executing the global balancing processes of our production technology. Doing so, you:

• Provide on-site production support by performing experiments, data analysis and troubleshooting
• Develop and maintain the Grundfos standard of balancing modules, including guidelines for suppliers and processes, and ensure that the standard is shared across Grundfos
• Collaborate closely with suppliers related to balancing and measuring systems to approve new equipment and develop new balancing solutions
• Support and advice Product Development about noise and vibration related to production technologies and assist in developing FMEA and control plans

You can expect 10-25 travel days a year to visit production sites, primarily in China, Hungary, USA, Serbia, Taiwan, Mexico and within Denmark. Apart from that, we offer flexible workhours, and you are free to work from home if it fits into your tasks.

Experience with mechanical calculations and measurement systems
To succeed in this position, it is essential that you:

• Have a bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering or similar
• Are well-founded within mathematics and physics and have experience with mechanical calculations
• Know the fundamentals of dynamics and vibration as well as reducing noise in dynamic systems
• Have experience with measurement systems as well as basic knowledge within measurement system analysis

Furthermore, it is desirable that you:

• Have experience from working with or designing rotating machinery, such as shafts, related components or measuring systems
• Know of Six Sigma and Design of Experiments (DOE)
