Set the strategic direction for LEGO DUPLO brand communication As a senior marketing manager based in Billund, Denmark, you get a dual role both setting the grand stage for LEGO DUPLO brand communication and executing on a sub-product line. Doing so, you optimise the global communication strategy while also developing and aligning the yearly campaign concept for LEGO DUPLO (approximately 60% of the role). In addition, you become lead on a specific LEGO DUPLO sub-product line, allowing you to execute on the overall strategy as well as be responsible for business performance. Your key responsibilities include: Continuously building, optimising and aligning an understanding of what it takes to attract, engage and convert millennium parents, gift givers and 1½-5 year-old children across digital, social and more traditional media Continuously optimising the overall LEGO DUPLO communication strategy and campaigns to position the brand in a global context with respect to various market situations and objectives Managing a portfolio of strong products for a specific LEGO DUPLO sub-product line, built on solid consumer and market insights Developing an innovative and integrated go-to-market strategy and campaign tool box for the sub-product line in cooperation with global lead markets Partners in play LEGO DUPLO is an important element in the LEGO core business, and you will collaborate widely across our business. You work with fellow passionate marketing colleagues to bring world-class, engaging marketing and product experiences for pre-schoolers to market. All with a strong focus on balancing the need for alignment and the need for setting clear directions towards key stakeholders. Communications specialist with a strong business Foundation A challenge in this role will be to position the LEGO DUPLO brand in a global framework with distinctive regional differences. Thus, you ensure that the overall campaign concept and tool box direction allows for development to become sub-line and regionally specific, while aligning with the overall strategy and campaign concept. To succeed with this process, you have exceptional stakeholder management skills and the ability to both appreciate input and set a clear direction. Moreover, you have: A master´s or an MBA degree in marketing Minimum 7 years of experience within the broader scope of marketing, business and communication - preferably working in an international brand company or from working abroad Solid experience within brand positioning, content development and activation of digital, social as well as more traditional media, giving you a 360 degree marketing understanding Demonstrated success in a similar position in a FMCG industry A holistic mind-set enabling you to connect the dots into a direction which makes an impact for consumers and the business Great natural communication skills, and you speak and write English fluently Bringing it to life "You get a unique chance to develop and position the LEGO DUPLO brand which is an important strategic priority in the LEGO portfolio, while simultaneously working hands-on with executing marketing and business strategies for a sub-product line.
