Service /Service Operations/ Regional Support
SCADA Operations NCE is part of the NCE Service. We are spread across the SBU supporting the local Construction and Service. Around 60 employees are located in eight locations around the NCE, most employees in Videbaek, Hamburg and Husum.

The department is responsible for installing over 120 new SCADA systems each year and maintaining the more than 1700 existing systems.

The SCADA system is the central control system for the Windfarm to ensure regulation according to local Electrical requirements, remote control and data acquisition. Often the local substation is controlled by the SCADA system and lately also solar systems and battery storage are being included.

Responsibilities
Reporting to the Senior Director for SCADA Operations NCE, you will be part of the management team and take leadership for implementing Vestas strategy, aligning and simplifying procedures across Vestas, securing customer focus, safety and help driving down service costs.

The key responsibilities include:

• Be part of the SCADA management team in NCE and help driving SBU improvement projects
• Convert strategy into action-oriented objectives for each employee and ensure that all team members understand how their work relate to business objectives
• Provide effective leadership that achieves an aligned, engaged and motivated team
• Establish and maintain good and productive relationships with the customer and internal partners
• Drive improvement in existing products and services to better meet customer needs
• Responsible for all employment matters including hiring, employee relations, performance management, performance appraisals, etc.
• Ensure focus on safety
• Manage Budget

Qualifications

• A relevant technical education, such as Engineer
• About five years of Leadership experience
• Good understanding of Computer systems and networks.
• Experience within the wind power business preferably in Technology or Service area

Competencies
As a person you are/have:

• Min 3 years team management experience
• Excellent communication skills and is fluent in English
• Able to set clear goals and follow up, motivate and develop employees
• Customer oriented and have the ability to understand the business value seen from a service and customer perspective
• Relationship building, both internal and external
• Able to handle multiple simultaneous tasks
• Good change and conflict management skills
• Demonstrates a sense of urgency in meeting commitments

Additional information
Work location is Videbaek Denmark alternatively Hamburg or Husum in Germany. Some travel must be expected in this position.
