Senior Business Controller with excellent analytical skills for Business Support

About the department

In DFP Hillerød Business Support, we are looking for an experienced business controller to join our finance team at our newest and state-of-art production site in Hillerød, Denmark. Our team consists of seven employees, who all are committed to deliver strong results. The aim of our team is to bring strong financial and business controlling of manufacturing operations by completing on our core tasks of reporting, analysing, and participate in process optimisation within the production site.

 

The job

Together with colleagues, you will participate in and be responsible for various financial planning and reporting processes to management. The tasks include preparation and follow up of the monthly reporting, budgeting and controlling. You will play a significant role for all departments across the production site and thus, it is expected that you are able to build strong relationships with site management and production departments. Furthermore, it is expected that you spend time weekly on the shop-floor, where it all happens and where you will gain valuable information on what activities should be prioritised.

 

Qualifications

You have a master’s degree in Economics or similar with excellent academic results and minimum 5 years of experience from preferably a manufacturing company. You have a strong business acumen and interest in understanding the drivers behind processes and procedures in a company. We expect you to have an excellent toolbox of analytical skills and at the same time is a good and clear communicator. You are expected to be fluent in English.

On the personal level, you are structured and comfortable with managing your own time and deliverables. We are looking for a person, who is passionate about finance and controlling. You are driven by data and have a good eye for details. At the same time you need to be able to come with new ideas and recommendations based on financial and business insights. You have professional and personal impact that is reflected in your desire to make a true difference.
