Would you like to take lead in developing new cutting-edge technology for airports and distribution centres across the globe? You get to delegate and lead the technical solutions in cooperation with your competent team.

As a Senior Automation Engineer, you become part of our Product Design and Engineering team. Here, you join a team of creative and highly-skilled colleagues, with whom you create the products of tomorrow as well as keeping the product ownership of the existing technologies.

Create the programming of our future products
You will join a smaller team within the department called 'Product Engineering' assigned to the task of developing our new products and support tools, as well as handle the sustained engineering on our existing products. Your primary focus will be the technical lead of PLC software for conveyor systems including tools for auto generate PLC code and all internal and external interfaces.
Your role will be to delegate, train and coach our colleagues, who use the products in customer projects.

You have the technical responsibility and goal setting in the product development phases, from specifications trough programming, design, testing etc. You may be overviewing more projects at once - always developing products at the forefront of technology.

Validate your new products
Our product development process follows the recognized V-model: from customer requirements to final validation of our systems around in the world. As Senior Automation Engineer, you will work closely with our colleagues globally validating the new products and project processes. This may result in some travel activity depending on the project - you should expect up to 40 days per year.

Build your knowledge and take on more responsibility
You will assume the role as the product owner taking the technical lead for full process of the projects. Naturally, we will, as your colleagues, share our knowledge, discuss solution possibilities and support the process though to hand-over.

As you master the art of driving projects, you will get to take on project management of the team and activities within the team, allowing you to build skills in that area.

Skilled and experienced within automation

• You are a skilled PLC programmer with knowledge of Siemens S7 and Siemens TIA - preferably also with some knowledge of VBA and C#.
• You may have experience with developing tools.
• You may have knowledge of tools for auto generates PLC code.
• You speak and write English fluently, and if you do not know Danish already, you want to learn.
• If you have other competencies, we would also like to hear from you. Maybe you have that special something that we did not know we needed.

You enjoy sharing your knowledge and discussing the best solution with your colleagues, and you actively support them, ask for their advice and encourage them to come to you with the best result. Also, you have a playful spirit and enjoy finding solutions to solve complex challenges. As you will act globally, it is crucial that you have good stakeholder management skills being a good listener, curious and consensus oriented.
