About the position:
For our Procurement department we are looking for a Senior Buyer to be responsible for the implementation of our sourcing strategy within the area of Offshore Towers, which also includes the establishment and maintenance of relationships with various existing or potential suppliers.

What are my responsibilities?

• Preparing, conducting and leading negotiations, in cooperation with Corporate Procurement, for your area of responsibility with the main aim of obtaining the highest feasible savings, while always ensuring on time supply of materials which fulfils our internal quality requirements
• Conducting contract negotiations with existing and new suppliers
• Establishing cost control and cost transparency in the defined area of responsibility
• Producing price forecasts and internal figures to supply budget data for corporate planning and reporting
• Maintaining regular contacts with interface partners, such as the Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Supplier Quality and Corporate Procurement departments and various other internal stakeholders
• Driving achievement of improvements (cost, quality, on-time supply, product performance) through cross-functional alignment with internal stakeholders and suppliers

What do I need to qualify for this job?

• You hold a relevant Master's degree combined with a minimum of 3 years of professional experience within the areas of strategic procurement, procurement management or supply chain management, preferably from an international company
• You are a skilled negotiator with strong analytical and outstanding communication skills
• You are independent, open minded and proactive and you have a systematic and structured approach to your assignments
• You are a dedicated team player with leadership skills, thriving in a dynamic environment with many cross-cultural interfaces
• Additionally, you have excellent English skills, both orally and in writing and you are an advanced user of Microsoft Excel
