Systems Engineer and Risk Manager with a flair for Usability

If you can answer yes to these questions, there is a good chance that you will be our new Systems Engineer and Risk Manager in Digital Health.
About the department
Digital Health is a cross company collaboration between Commercial Innovation, Global IT and Device R&D. You will be part of Digital Health IT which is responsible for developing digital health products to the market. In Digital Health we combine user insights, new innovations and regulatory requirements. We work closely with colleagues across Novo Nordisk to coordinate development, marketing, and regulatory plans. We have strong business relations and work with our external partners to bring innovative solutions to market.
The position
The position will be based in Søborg where you will join an international team of more than 30 passionate employees in Digital Health. Here, you will become a member of one or more project teams, working across all phases of our software device development pipeline.
As the appointed Risk Manager, you will be responsible for safety risk management during the development, operation, and maintenance of our digital products from system to component level. You will establish the safety risk management plan and drive the safety risk management activities. You will work closely with Usability Engineering to drive the design control processes in the projects incl. defining and managing product requirements, safety risk management, design verification and validation. In this job you will play an important role in shaping the risk management processes to fit the needs of digital health solutions.
Qualifications
You hold an academic degree within an engineering field where you have been exposed to software development, and preferably software as a medical device. Your experience preferably comes from either pharma, automotive, aerospace, energy or other industries where quality and regulatory compliance is vital to succeed.
Experience with the design control process will be valued. You have worked with design of software or medical devices. You also have interest in project/task coordination and experience from a high pace regulated environment.
You are fluent in English (oral and written), and your structured way of working and general overview enables you to handle several tasks at the same time while keeping an ongoing focus on results.
To succeed, it is crucial that you thrive on working independently and in teams as the lead as well as contributor. In addition, you must have strong work ethics and willingness to take responsibility and drive success. You have an eye for and understand both the details and the bigger picture. Since you will be working globally, you must expect some meetings to take place outside DK working hours.
