Research Scientist, Scouting and Exploration R&D, NBD, Bagsværd
We are looking for a talented research scientist with profound skills within applied biotechnology and a desire to work with new applications and business areas.
Scouting and Exploration R&D is a department in Novozymes New Business Development, responsible for supporting new growth bets for Novozymes. We are a small, dedicated and versatile team of 3 people in DK consisting of both scientists and research associates covering many scientific disciplines. Our tasks include very early stage exploratory work on new ideas, project work, and support to innovation projects with global partners. We are working in cross-functional project teams, as well as in close interaction with our customers and with our sister departments in New Business Development.
In this position, you need to:
- Have a Master of Science within engineering or PhD degree in Science
- Specialize in applied biotechnology transforming science into industrial relevance with a generalist mindset (enzyme formulation experience, enzyme assay experience, applied microbiology experience is considered an advantage)
- Have project management experience or aspirations is an advantage
- Thrive working in a R&D and business development environment were routine tasks are rare
