Power Solutions > Turbine Solutions > Loads & Control
Loads & Control is where the functional concept of the turbine is defined; its sizing, main dimensions, behaviour, power output, noise footprint, component loads, aero-elastics and stability. From new technology feasibility studies to the delivery and validation of wind turbine prototypes, the Loads & Controls team is involved in every step along the way. 
We are a department of nearly 100 people, and we own the high-level controller logic of the turbine, powercurve performance, the aero-elastic models of the turbine, and the loads & stability areas. Our department lies at the root of the definition of new products for the 2MW, 4MW and Offshore platforms

 

Responsibilities

• Budget, plan and execute the projects within the Loads & Control directorate
• Ensure delivery within time, quality and cost targets
• Set up the effective organisation of your projects including strong governance
• Communication responsibilities and stakeholder management of the project
• Contribute to project management expertise growth and development of new processes
• Lead multicultural project teams

 

Qualfications

• Engineering or Business degree
• Minimum 5 years of hands on project management experience
• Experience with managing multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary teams
• Proven experience with technology development and technology development projects and processes
• hands on experience with planning for uncertainty and unknown-unknowns 
• Experience with stakeholder management and risk management on a high professional level
• A recognised project management accreditation is a plus
• Experience with Scaled Agile Framework, Agile practices, and JIRA is a plus

 

Competencies
You will be confident with simplifying complex projects and understanding the business and political reality the project is embedded in. You will understand the technical boundary conditions and will be able to communicate effectively on the various levels required. Experience lends you a pro-active mindset towards opportunities, challenges and also towards process and business improvements. You will bring excellent communication skills, leadership and people management skills, good business acumen and have a pro-active attitude with a commercial mindset.

Additional information
The primary work location is Aarhus, Denmark, and the role requires approximately 14 days of travel per year.
