Project manager We are looking for a new project manager to the Project Management & Statistics department within our global function Quality, Environment and Safety. You will be leading different types of projects within the QES area to improve the way we work and create value to our customers. The majority of our projects are global and involves other parts of the Novozymes organization. Your first project will be related to implementation of Novozymes Quality Strategy so experience with cross-functional projects driving cultural change including implementation of a new CAPA system (corrective actions and improvements) is an advantage. In addition to our new project manager the department includes two experienced project managers and three statisticians. Qualifications Trained project manager with approx. 5 years of experience with project management, including tool box for preparing the business case and for organizing, planning and managing a project. Scientific and chemical background, e.g. MSc or BSc in chemistry or chemical engineering, supplemented with a project management certification like IPMA-C or equivalent. Demonstrate good communicative and skills and ability to successfully engage with different stakeholders. Good in presenting projects to management and in getting difficult messages through. Ability to balance need for structure and flexibility. Good leadership skills in motivating, providing direction and leading the project team on a daily basis and managerial courage to take the project through stormy waters. Passionate about project management and has chosen this as your carrier path. Challenges Project manager for various kinds of projects within the QES area. The projects could likely involve development and implementation of IT to support our business and processes but also more soft projects on integration and change management. Working together with different teams and being in contact with different parts of the organization – both within QES and with the rest of the Novozymes organization. High impact on development of project management in QES.As a project manager we expect you to work independently and with high responsibility and you will be instrumental in driving improvements in QES.
