For our Supply Chain Management, Blades, we are looking for a project manager for new product Introduction projects involving multifaceted and complex tasks. Global Manufacturing Blades is situated in Aalborg, where the department of New Product Introduction (NPI) holds the responsibility for carrying out large-scale projects in blade development, blade optimization, ramp-up, process optimization, and the concept development of production facilities. As a result of the increasing number of NPI activities, new blades, blade revisions and add-ons in our global blade production, we are looking to recruit new talent to take on the role of project manager in NPI. Currently, Siemens Wind Power (SWP) Blades has production facilities in Denmark, the US, Canada and China. What are my responsibilities? Running and managing development projects from their scoping/conceptualization and the development and documentation of the blade concept right the way through to the customer's production facility. Managing the project team(s) involved, ensuring their deliveries are in sync with project plan timelines, defined milestones, and always in compliance with SWP standards. Coordinating with the technology transfer team to ensure that production implementation at the customer's location is launched safely and successfully in a qualified manner. What do I need to qualify for this job? · Either a commercial or a technical academic background. · You have fundamental project management skills and a proven track record. · Experience in managing projects with a large number of stakeholders involved – internally and externally. · Excellent cross-functional and interdisciplinary skills. · Skills in cross-organizational and cross-cultural communication. · Advanced abilities in working systematically and in a structured manner in dynamic and international projects running simultaneously. · Fundamental comprehension of process structures in project execution.
