In the R&D Strategy and Change department we are looking for a Project Leader who will be leading strategic R&D projects with high impact and risks for the business as part of the Digitalising R&D team. Use cases within Digitalising R&D test concepts, technology and push the boundaries of how we use data and analytics using agile sprint concept before graduating to become fully integrated projects in the business.
Digitalising R&D is part of our R&D transformation programme looking to transform how LEO Pharma operates, and as such is set in a fast-paced, innovative and challenging environment.
You will become part of a team with a pleasant and flexible work environment, a team that have full speed ahead whilst staying open minded and social.
Who are you?
Your responsibilities will include:
- Scoping, pitching and planning of innovative data and analytics Use Cases according to need
- Agile ownership, management and accountability for one or more Use Cases
- Stakeholder and relationship management, resource negotiation
- Matrix team management of project contributors
- External partner management and collaboration
- Reporting and presenting of Use Case to various Governance boards and Steering Committees
- Documenting progress, learnings and actions
Your preferably qualifications and experience:
- A MSc or similar in a relevant scientific discipline
- More than 5 years’ experience within the pharmaceutical industry and/or digital innovation
- Solid track record in digital strategies development and implementation
- Solid experience with change management and working in dynamic, transformative projects
- Solid knowledge of project management principles and practices; experience in running agile innovation projects
- Solid knowledge / understanding of technologies and trends impacting healthcare and pharma
- Strong leadership capabilities (e.g. ability to set direction, ensure project progress, motivate, challenge and create a winning spirit in the team)
- Comfortable with uncertainty and change in a high-velocity environment
