You support the financial side of our projects
As a Project Controller, you support Project Managers across the organisation with the finances of their projects. You are involved in every phase of a project, from ensuring the correct configuration at start-up to checking the project's monthly data. Your primary task is to support our many Project Managers in order to give them an overview of their figures and assure them that the details are in place and working. In other words, you ensure that projects work well, create value, and return true and fair financial results, both now and in the future. Furthermore, you are a key player in our "Finance Transformation Journey", which involves the digitalisation and streamlining of our processes through the implementation of a new ERP system. Here you will help to improve our processes and data in order to optimise flows and deliver the best possible service to the business.

Your duties will include:

• Supporting every phase of projects
• Conducting ad-hoc analyses for projects
• Supporting, inspiring, and challenging project managers
• Ensuring accurate, true, and fair reporting at project level, including budgeting and forecasting that create value
• Contributing to performance management (KPIs) by way of reliable analyses that support the business's decision-making
• Developing the functions and services provided by Finance
• Ensuring uniform workflows and processes throughout the organisation's business units
• Participating in various projects in Finance, ranging from new financial models, the establishment of controlling in Shared Functions, the implementation of a new ERP system, closing excellence, etc.

Experienced Project Controller with analytical mindset
We expect you to have a master's degree in economics and experience in project control from a similar role. You are familiar with Microsoft Dynamics AX 365 or similar ERP system and BI reporting tools, and are a super user of Excel.

• Very analytical with a good understanding of business
• Conversant with the use of our business model in practice
• Able to maintain an overview, yet with a keen eye for detail
• Motivated and ambitious, with the initiative to contribute your own ideas
• Able to challenge project managers
• Familiar with moving around the organisation at several levels
• Proactive and on top of your analyses
• Comfortable with a busy working day, deadlines, and changes

Systematic is an international company. Therefore it is a requirement that you speak and write English at an advanced level.
