Overview: We are looking to hire a professional to join our Product Engineering group. Benefits of this position - Full chip involvement - Working with companies and professionals around the world - Wide scope of work - Every day is different Responsibilities: The role will involve the following: •Apply mathematical, computer programming and electronic skills to develop solution for high-speed products. •Handling multiple jobs in the same day. Contact to most departments in the company on a daily basis. •Main processes to be mastered in this position: Develop solutions with circuit design team for manufacturability; design reliability verification solutions, HTOL, ESD, LU using subcontractors. •Code Verilog for high-level models •Keep all code and script documentation under revision control using Synchronicity; write source code for test-benches as input to Verilog models scrutinizing the device circuitry and specifications; verify expected behavior using GTKwave or similar logic analysis tools; •Work with analog design team to define parametric limits; plan and code Visual basic and C for automatic test equipment (ATE), Teradyne J750, Verigy, Ultraflex •Collaborate with operational team on planning, releasing and hand-over manufacturing solutions. •Scrutinize large data volumes (not exactly big data, but close) from production, understand deviations from expected performance in team work with circuit design team, quality and semiconductor fab. •RMA handling and debug; surveillance of semiconductor process parameters and correlation to high speed performance; and more. •Some travel activity expected, 1-2 weeks per year worldwide. Qualifications: Electronics •broad electronics knowledge •good analysis skills in electronics •simulation with Cadence on existing circuits is a plus •understanding layout in Cadence is a plus Mathematics •Data analysis, experience with JMP is a plus •Statistics •Multi-variable analysis Software •Script-Programming in any language, Perl, Visual basic, C, awk, python, •Hardware-near software development •Verilog Education, experience •Master’s degree electronics- an advantage Personality •multi-tasking; •several tasks and projects on the same day; •team worker influencing many people; •long term planning;
