Product Management/Technical Sales Management/Global Technical Sales Support In a highly competitive and globalized market, Product Management drives the Vestas Product Strategy making sure that Vestas always has the right competitive product offerings to stay ahead of competitors. Product Management has a global reach into our sales regions, including Technical Sales Management with responsibility for technical sales and bid management. In everything we do we have a commercial and customer oriented approach. We are measured on the impact the product platforms have on Vestas profitability and ability to continuously lower the cost of energy. We are responsible for aligning the Product Strategy globally across our Sales Business Units in order to support local markets success and by this taking into account the dynamics of the global market for wind power plant solutions. Global Technical Sales Management secures that the products and services offered out of the Vestas portfolio are fitting customer and markets needs from a technical perspective, providing the best business case opportunity for the customer and for Vestas. Global Technical Sales Support is a dedicated central function with the key objective to support the global Technical Sales Management organization - e.g. with fast track product customization, technical contract review, and optimization of tools and processes. Responsibilities You will be part of a small team which is responsible for the operation and continuous optimization of Vestas’ process for fast track product customization. The objective of product customization is to increase competitiveness and meet specific market and customer requests. The process reaches across the entire Vestas value chain from Sales through R&D, Sourcing, Construction and Service. The responsibilities includes: •Prioritize requests based on commercial criteria •Oversee and ensure progress on process execution across the value chain •Train and support stakeholders in R&D, Sourcing, Technical Sales Management and Sales •Follow-up and report on KPIs to management and relevant stakeholders across Vestas •Drive the continuous optimization of the fast track product customization process and its integration with other Vestas processes Qualifications •You hold a B.Sc. or M.Sc. or an MBA - either in Engineering combined with a commercial education or relevant commercial experience – or in Business/Economics combined with a technical education or relevant technical experience •Preferably you have some years of experience with the wind industry or with Business-to-Business product management in a global organization •Understanding of a wind OEM's product portfolio, business model, business drivers, and value chain is an advantage. •You possess excellent communication skills •You speak and write English fluently Competencies You are a team player and an excellent networker who appreciate to work with many stakeholders in a global organisation.
