For our Quality Excellence & Environmental Health and Safety Department within our Nacelle production we are looking for a new Manager. The department is the foundation for driving, optimizing and seeking synergies within QE & EHS on the operational levels within Supply Chain Nacelle. As a Department Manager you will be leading approximately 15 experienced people in a mix of Project managers, Specialists and Quality Engineers with the main responsibilities of supporting our Nacelle production by maintaining and further developing our ISO Management system as well as driving improvement projects and supporting production with training and competencies in e.g. problem solving (Root cause analysis, CAPA). Also the department is responsible for our internal and external customers when approaching Production on quality topics. More specifically, your responsibilities will cover: What are my responsibilities? · Leading and developing the team in the integration phase from being 2 teams into becoming 1. · Daily management and prioritization of Q&EHS action plans and assignments · Initiating and driving Quality and EHS improvement projects using Six Sigma methodology · Support in establishing CAPA as a common tool and identify synergies in Q and EHS methodologies · Coordinating, driving and communicating quality activities to internal and external customers · Analyzing Non-conforming data to identify the right improvement needs together with production What do I need to qualify for this job? · You are a strong leader with 3+ years of professional management experience from a similar position in an international company. · You have a strong customer focus, working across the entire value chain, designing solutions and implementing corrections to process- and operational issues · You have experience preferably within both Quality and EHS · You have experience with quality systems and tools where certification (i.e. ISO lead auditor, PPAP, Six Sigma, etc.) is an advantage · Knowledge of the manufacturing processes within heavy industries will be seen as an advantage, as would experience within the wind industry · As a person you are self-driven, assertive and process-oriented, and you have a structured approach to your tasks. You possess strong analytical and outstanding communication skills · You are a dedicated team player thriving in a dynamic environment with many cross-cultural interfaces · Finally, you have excellent English skills both orally and in writing. In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated. What else do I need to know?
