You will join the Domestic Building Services (DBS Segment) consisting of 15 colleagues. We are responsible for the global DBS business and portfolio strategies as well as the implementation of strategic initiatives, marketing campaigns and new product introductions. Within the DBS Segment, you will work in a team that focuses on Europe and North America, and a lot of communication passes through us regarding product development, pricing, market investigations and studies, formulation of marketing campaigns etc. You will refer to Business Development Manager, Kostas Kazbaras. “In our team, no two days are alike, and you will be part of a fast-paced environment where we rely on each other for sparring, support and know each other’s strong suits. We constantly challenge one another in order to achieve growth – both as a business but also as people,” Kostas says. Hvad drejer jobbet sig om? Your main responsibility will be to plan and manage the Coldwater product portfolio. Setting portfolio strategies, you work in the interface between the market, Sales companies and Product development. Here, you collect market input and application knowledge and translate it all into product offerings and marketing campaigns. Another part of your job is to work on the operational and tactical level, doing price setting and marketing initiatives, and you train our sales people in products and applications. Thus, your job draws highly on your technical application and product knowledge but also requires commercial know-how. You will travel up to 60 days a year to Europe and North America. “Your challenge will be to get input from multiple markets and to be able to switch between a technical and a commercial point of view. You have to work with many stakeholders and establish yourself in a complicated network in order to influence people in it. Your product portfolio holds many great opportunities meaning that you need to prioritise and pursue the most attractive ones,” Kostas explains. Hvad skal der til for at ansøge? You have a Master’s degree in Engineering or Business and 5+ years of experience dealing with technical aspects of products and applications. Further, you have had commercial training, and perhaps you have worked as a Product or Portfolio Manager in a similar industry. You speak and write fluent English. If you have experience from the domestic water and waste water industry, we consider it a plus. “As a person, you have solid communication skills and are able to be in dialogue with many different stakeholders of various cultural backgrounds. You have good negotiation skills, can sell your point of view to the right people and are customer oriented. Finally, you are adaptable and can manoeuvre between the technical and commercial aspects of the job,” Kostas finishes.
