Description As PMO Manager to the AQT business unit, you will be accountable for providing professional and effective planning and tracking support to product or technology development projects related to the AQT platform. In addition, you must contribute to maintenance and continuous improvement of Radiometer’s practices for project and portfolio management. The job To be successful, you must be able to collaborate in a constructive, service-minded and effective manner in a hectic working cross-functional team of project leaders. As part of this, there must be no doubt in the mind of any of these persons that the PMO Manager has solid project management experience in terms of methods and tools, as well as people management. The PMO Manager will work closely together with the PMO team in Global R&D. Your responsibilities and tasks will among others include: •Provisioning of professional and effective planning and tracking support to a selected set of product or technology development projects. •Contribution to maintenance and continuous improvement of Radiometer’s practices for project and portfolio management. •Coordinate complex 15–100 man year product development projects characterized by: Being executed in a hectic environment, multi-disciplinary (hardware, software, chemistry, mechanics, etc.), cross-functional (multiple departments), multi-site, and need for close and effective progress tracking, including solid metrics. •Continue implementation and adoption of key agile and lean business systems used intensively throughout the corporation. Travel up to one week a month, primarily to Turku, Finland, is to be expected. However, we believe that the following formal qualifications will improve your chances of success: •5+ years of project management and/or department management experience. •Experience with management of large scale, complex, integration intensive projects. •Master of Science, Bachelor of Science, or similar. •IPMA certification, PMI certification, or similar. •Excellent communicator, fluent in English both orally and in writing. •Ability to create crisp and clear status reporting to be used by Senior Management. •Experience with project portfolio management and methods, including road mapping. •Super-user/very experienced as regards MS Project and other collaboration platforms like Jira and Confluence from Atlassian. •Experienced user in the MS Office package, especially Excel and PowerPoint. An extra effort will often be required. You must be able to “do what it takes” when needed, be passionate and committed about what you do, as well as: •Service-minded, robust, resilient, trustworthy, detail-oriented. •Able to collaborate with demanding section managers and highly specialized technical senior project leaders. •Experience with handling of project portfolios where multiple projects and firefighting tasks are executed in parallel, and compete for the same pool o
