In Global Development, we are responsible for managing clinical drug development worldwide from early development phases to product introduction. We ensure medical and scientific documentation for clinical submissions and authorities while ensuring that the process lives up to uniform global standards, regulations and business ethics. About the department You will join Clinical Reporting, the medical writing function at Novo Nordisk as part of Global Development. We are currently some 70 employees, primarily Medical Writers and Clinical Publishers. Our focus is to prepare business critical clinical documentation for regulatory submissions to health authorities worldwide, and ensure that the processes live up to uniform global standards, regulations and business ethics. The job As Medical Writer you will be trusted a business critical responsibility extracting and transforming complex science results into information that lives up to internal Novo Nordisk standard operating procedures as well as external guidelines. All documents are written in English. Your main tasks involve writing of regulatory clinical documents such as clinical trial reports, investigator’s brochures, summary documents and other vital documents covering interpretation and documentation of clinical data. As we cover all clinical development projects within Novo Nordisk’s different therapy areas, the focus and daily tasks depend on the type of document and the life cycle stage of the project. Planning and coordination of activities in a cross-disciplinary setting is also a central part of the job, and we expect that you are capable of driving the writing process and manage the many stakeholders involved. Though based in Copenhagen, you will collaborate closely together with dedicated specialists across the global organisation. If you join us as an experienced Medical Writer, an important part of your job will be to coordinate tasks and to mentor and train less experienced Medical Writers while providing positive and constructive feedback. You will also play an important role in sharing of better practices across projects and processes. Qualifications To apply you must bring a degree at PhD level or experience at equivalent level, and for the experienced Medical Writers we expect at least 5 years’ medical writing experience including experience from preparing clinical regulatory documents. Naturally, you master written and spoken English at a professional level. As a person, you have a flair for and a genuine interest in scientific communication, and you communicate in a reliable, professional and trustworthy manner. You are a strong team player, who adapts easily to an ever-changing environment with tight deadlines.
