GN ReSound Ballerup - Denmark We are looking for a promising and motivated candidate to join the Mechanical Design Office in R&D at GN ReSound located in Ballerup. This position will offer unique opportunities in all aspects of mechanical development with primary focus on development, 3D design, prototype manufacturing, test, validation, updates and maintenance, of complex parts in many types of hearing aids. All this will happen in close co-operation with our R&D partners globally, industrial designers and product management. The position will include a support function for the department in advanced CREO use. We will facilitate advanced training if necessary, but it is expected that the candidate has a flair and interest for advanced 3D modelling. The candidate: As mechanical designer you are as a person well structured, ambitious, and co-operative with a strong mind-set to take responsibility within mechanical development. We expect you to be open, communicative and a team player with a positive mind-set even in challenging situations. As CREO supporter it is expected you can communicate advanced functions and have patience to support your colleagues in a busy work environment. Finally you must share our values and passions for mechanical development at a very high and challenging level. Academic Background and Operational Skills: As a minimum the candidate holds a Master or Bachelor degree in mechanics. Tool making or similar background is a plus. Apart from the above, we would like a candidate with: • Experience and interest in advanced 3D CAD, preferable Creo. • Experience with CAD database management, preferably PDMLink. • Experience within part development in injection molded plastic parts, preferable of micro parts for medical or electronic consumer devices. • Knowledge in cross disciplinary product development processes in all phases of product development. • A structured and process oriented work approach. • Good planning, coordination and communication skills. • High attention to details. The candidate must be fluent in English. Danish is a plus but not mandatory.
