Manager, Technical Service Europe, Grain Processing, Copenhagen, DK We are looking for an outstanding personality for the Grain processing and Bio-refinery markets to manage and contribute to attractive growth opportunities in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMA). The position is based out of our Danish technical service office, located in central Copenhagen. As a manager you will be responsible for securing optimal support to our EMA based customers within the Grain processing industry. This entails leading a team effort towards the customers as well as driving and delivering results. You will be responsible for the performance of the entire department consisting of Scientists and Lab technicians (app. 10-15 people in total) and ensuring that Performance Indicators for important focus areas are meet and you will secure optimal use of your Technical Service resources and budget. You will be a member of the regional commercial industry management team and co-driving the strategy for Grain processing in EMA. You will be a role model in collaborating across the Novozymes organization (including Sales, Marketing and R&D) to ensure that Technical Service develops and provides the expected value package to our customers. You will join the European Food and Beverage Business Operations leadership team and report directly to the TS Europe Director. In this position you need to: - have a very solid technical understanding based on a university degree in food technology, biochemistry, chemistry or natural sciences. Experience in enzymes is a clear asset, but not absolutely essential. Experience from the Grain processing industry will certainly add a lot to your credibility. - be a proven people manager in an international environment. - bring a customer focused and communicative personal style to the job – preferably from your experience with providing before-and-after-sales-services in the food industry. - have an outgoing and communicative personality and good leadership skills. Receiving and giving feedback are no problem for you. You have a flair for organizational, conceptual thinking and the ability to prioritize. - possess flexibility, team spirit and results orientation which are important work characteristics.
