Do you have what it takes to ensure the successful execution of VERO MODA’s ambitious expansion strategy? 
 
As a part of VERO MODA’s strategy, we are expecting to grow our network of stores substantially. Therefore, we are looking for an experienced and highly driven individual to take on a position that is crucial to our success. 

The department
At VERO MODA Retail, we are dedicated to developing and supporting our VERO MODA stores with everything from development of store concepts to daily operations. 
Reporting directly to the International Retail Manager, you take the lead of the Project & Concept Development team consisting of three colleagues, who all work with renovating existing stores and opening new stores. We value an informal and positive work environment, where we pull together and with the same goal in mind.

The position
As our new Manager, you will be taking the lead in the processes related to the responsibilities of the team. You will together with Retail Management and local expansion colleagues be responsible for scouting and acquiring new locations for our retail stores for VERO MODA and the following processes, which include:

• Developing and executing on the expansion strategy for our markets 
• Checking and analyzing the location offers
• Ensuring that new stores are built according to our concepts and planned timeline
• Maintaining existing stores and update to changing standards
• Ensuring an optimal building process and give all partners security during the process
• Maintaining and developing network of relevant suppliers of concepts etc.

Heavy travel activity must be expected as a part of this position.

Qualifications

• Background in construction and experience cooperating with contractors
• Experience with retail from a similar role
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
• Managerial experience
• IT skills and Office package.

As you will be working with a lot of external partners, it is essential that you are great at building, developing and maintaining relations. Your ability to use your network and experience to find and acquire the right locations for our next stores plays an important role in your daily tasks. As it will be your responsibility to negotiate and finalize leases, it is crucial that you are a strong and enduring negotiator, who will always make decisions from a business perspective. Your working day will be busy, which makes it important that you are able to work well under pressure, without compromising on the quality and accuracy of your work. Finally, you love to travel and meet new people and are driven by the fact that your work will help grow the business.
