If yes, you may be the perfect candidate for our open position as Manager for Assurance Intelligence. About the department Assurance Intelligence is a department within Group Internal Audit. Group Internal Audit consists of 24 people representing eight different nationalities working in a dynamic, ambitious and informal environment. We are responsible for providing assurance to Senior Management and the Audit Committee on compliance with IT, Finance and Business Ethics requirements. The job We are looking for a manager to head up the Assurance Intelligence team which is a data analytics team that consists of four employees in Denmark and three employees working out of our Global Shared service centre in Bangalore, India. You will be responsible for a department that is leading edge in the use of data analytics within audit and compliance. The use of data analytics is a strategic focus area for the future audit and compliance efforts in Novo Nordisk. The department was established in 2014 and is still developing and maturing in a number of areas – there is a great opportunity to impact and set the future direction for this department in collaboration with rest of the management team. In this role you will become part of the Group Internal Audit management team and take part in setting the future direction of this area. On top of the people management responsibility for the team in Denmark, your responsibility will include oversight and development of key processes such as proactive data monitoring related to fraud, corruption and errors, pre-audit analytics for more efficient on-site audits and use of data analytics for forensic investigations.Other elements in the job include development and roll-out of data analytic tools for the global compliance organisation, identifying and analysing trends and risks related to compliance and exploration of the potential in use of predictive analytics and machine learning. Further, an important part of the role is coordinating and optimizing collaboration with the team in Bangalore, India. Qualifications You have a Master degree within a relevant area which could be in accounting, finance, IT or similar. You need to have a very strong analytical mind-set and be good at understanding complex data and processes. You are comfortable with challenging status quo and testing innovative new ideas and analytic methods. Good project and stakeholder management skills are beneficial in this role. Preferably you have a couple of years of people management responsibility, this is however not a requirement.
