You become part of Industrial Sales where we sell custom-engineered systems for large, global Food & Beverage accounts. We are a small department, but you work closely with our Project Execution team as well as the Grundfos Sales organisation to collaborate on customers, contacts and technical solutions. Your location may be either Langå or close to some of our accounts in Western Europe. You refer to Segment Director, Søren Nøhr Bak. ”We work with our customers for several reasons.Sometimes, they might be threatened on their license to operate and need our services. Sometimes, our services can lead to significant cost-cutting. Or our solutions can also help strengthen their CSR strategy. That is why we have a high focus on sustainability in the department being relentlessly ambitious in finding the best solutions – while developing our business,” Søren explains. Hvad drejer jobbet sig om? As our new Key Account Manager, it is your responsibility to contact identified potential clients. On occasion, you also scout the market for potential new accounts and make the initial contact. You prepare business cases and evaluate alternatives for our solutions, which you present to large Food & Beverage accounts. You also participate in developing sales enabling tools, which can be used to scale the business. However, it is anticipated that the majority of the time is together with the Client developing a project from the initial idea through contract negotiation and signing. During this process, you will work with a Project Manager’s and our technical back-up. In your daily work, you handle multiple stakeholders – from the Managing Director who decides on investments to the technical organisation who will feel the impact of the project in their daily work. Thus, your communication spans over both management presentations to being able to explain what a project will mean for anemployee of a customer. During the project, you therefore hold status meetings to stay up to date on what is going on in the customer’s organisation and report on progress and opportunities. “You need to be able to emit credibility and be trustworthy to get into the customer’s organisation. It is really important to show that you understand the customer as well as their needs, challenges and wishes in relation to a project,” Søren says. Hvad skal der til for at ansøge? You have a degree in mechanical or process engineering – preferably combined with a background within wastewater treatment for process industries or within Food & Beverage. And you have worked on technical solutions for this specific area. Moreover, it is an advantage if you are experienced in selling complex solutions in the capital goods range or have experience as a project manager or consultant with the customer in focus. You speak and write fluent English plus another language – preferably German, French or Spanish. “As a person, you possess excellent people skills enabling you to meet customers at all levels of the organisation. You are reliable and trustworthy allowing you to engage with the customers and understand their needs,” Søren finishes.
