The department is responsible for project management of the overall NPI projects in Production Engineering, concept development in the initial phase of the projects and finally delivering measuring tools to the projects. You become part of the Measuring Tools team consisting of two engineers and two technical project managers. As Technical Project Manager for measuring tools, it is your responsibility to specify measuring equipment within metrology for production sites in the Grundfos Group. You work with cross functional groups (Engineering, Quality, Tool Designer and Manufacturing) in new development projects to define the optimal measuring solution. Moreover, you are responsible for covering the demands of projects together with product developers as well as the factory needing the developed equipment. You receive sparring from specialists in order to specify the exact solution required in the project and that it lives up to quality and regulations. “Your main challenge is to manage multiple projects, paying particular attention to details and contributing with your technical insights. But if you manage this successfully, the job gives you great freedom to come up with solutions and deepen your knowledge of measuring tools,” Kamilla explains. Hvad skal der til for at ansøge? You have a technical background and education such as a degree in Production Engineering, Quality or as Process Technician. This is combined with an interest or experience in geometrical tolerance (GPS and GD&T), mechanical processes and/or design of measuring equipment, which you wish to take to the next level. You speak and write fluent English. Danish is considered a plus. “On a personal level, you are outgoing and want to contribute to the team. You do not necessarily need to be a certified project manager, but it is important to us that you have the personality to drive the projects – then we can add to your skills. We are looking for someone who wants to work in depth in this field while developing solid project management skills, so along with a winning personality, the ability to discuss technical specifications and requirements with specialists is very important,” Kamilla finishes.
