About the Department In R&D Academic Partnerships we work to establish and manage strategic collaborations with leading universities to enable scientific project collaboration and talent attraction. The talent attraction effort is driven by an overall objective to build talent pipelines to accommodate for the future need for different talent segments to execute the R&D strategy, hence enabling the long-term success of Novo Nordisk. The department has employees with varied backgrounds from natural sciences, business and social sciences. Most of us are specialists in our field of work and we often work on independent projects and tasks across the global R&D organisation as well as with external collaborators at universities and other institutions. The Job Our talent attraction effort focuses on increasing awareness of Novo Nordisk as an employer and growing the rate of talents who consider Novo Nordisk as an attractive employer in the target group of students, PhDs and PostDocs educated within Natural Sciences, Medicine and Engineering. To do this we drive and participate in talent attraction activities both in DK and abroad covering career fairs and company presentations but also more customised activities which are designed internally. You will be involved in developing, planning and coordinating these activities and your daily tasks will have a wide span from brainstorming about concepts for new events to using our employer value propositions for planning communication to the target group and to overview budgets and plan who participates in talent attraction activities. You will also play an instrumental role in the daily operations of our newly launched talent ambassador programme which ensures that selected R&D employees engage in talent attraction activities and conduct employer branding communication. Here you will learn how to engage and motivate stakeholders and get the chance to practice your planning and communication skills. Qualifications We are looking for an intern who is currently studying for a master´s degree probably within Business, Marketing, Communication or Social Science. You are engaged in and eager to develop you skills in the field of talent attraction and employer branding. You must be curious to work with tasks addressing what Novo Nordisk should communicate and do in order to attract the best new employees in the future. The ideal candidate also has experience with organising and coordinating activities or events e.g. from a student job, volunteer work or maybe you have been involved in organising activities for fellow students. You have a can-do attitude and you thrive in a busy work environment. You are ready to take initiative and after getting the relevant training you will not be hesitant to work independently. As most communication is conducted in English you need to be fluent and comfortable in both writing and speaking. Practicalities Qualification: Students who have not yet graduated with a Master´s degree and who are available for the full employment period will be considered.
