Sales, Supply Chain Planning, Global Master Plan At Vestas Supply Chain Planning we are constantly optimizing the supply chain in order to have as low inventory as possible, and at the same time deliver to our customers on time in the most cost effective manner. It is an ever developing task in a fast paced environment. Supply Chain Planning (SCP) resides in the sales organization and is overall responsible for the planning of the Vestas supply chain. We are looking for an analytical, energetic and well-structured Global Planner for a maternity cover. Responsibilities The main responsibilities will cover: Coordinate and operationalize agreed activity level from sales and operation planning (S&OP) Work closely with Production Planning, Sales Portfolio team and S&OP team to align activity level with capabilities and sales requirements. Align detailed sales prospects with activity level and capacity and adjust demand signals to match this. Work with stakeholders to do what it takes to meet customers’ demands while keeping an eye on the financial impacts to Vestas. Responsible for current tasks and accountabilities and look for ways to improve and drive improvements. Maintain and support full transparency across manufacturing and throughout the supply chain. Foster and maintain close communication with partners in manufacturing, sales, global supply chain process, regional IOP Will work on standard, (daily, weekly monthly) reporting and do ad hoc analysis of specific complex issues and track to plan, report on execution and present solutions (optimization), securing delivery at lowest costs and need to consider regional and global implication. Must communicate with internal stakeholders across sales and production units, in varying functional areas who are above, below and peer level in a clear concise and professional manner Other tasks as assigned to meet business needs. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or technical education in engineering, supply chain, business administration or combination of education and experience 3-5 years of experience as a planner/scheduler/analyst, master planner in a global production organization; wind industry experience preferred Demonstrated personal commitment and focus on correct data as well as the ability to focus on details without losing the overall perspective. Understanding and interest--preferably in logistics and supply chain Ability to understand and analyze complex supply chain related issues including the financial impacts Good communication skills, and understanding of different cultures. Excellent command of Microsoft Office, ERP / MRP systems (SAP preferred Competencies Excellent communication skills in English Extrovert and corporative approach A good team player Proactive and self-driven Pragmatic and structured Capabilities to overview complex solutions Problem solving oriented but at the same time firm in sticking to the plan and the concept What we offer We offer the opportunity to work in the central supply chain organization on global organization and influence decision on high level.
