For our Hub Team we are looking for a competent Design Engineer to strengthen the team at our office in Brande, Denmark. The Hub Team is part of Technology and is responsible for all bolts and bolt connections for all our turbine platforms. Therefore, you will have a broad interface to the organization, including; Procurement, Supplier Quality, Production, On- and Offshore market units, Service Engineering. as well as a close collaboration with current and potential suppliers. What are my responsibilities? As a Mechanical Component Engineer you will be working with various tasks within the bolt area. More specifically, your work assignments will cover: · Creating design specifications for bolts and bolt connections · Handling Non Conformity reports and warranty cases · Active member of the commodity team · Validation of new suppliers and close contact with existing suppliers · Test activities What do I need to qualify for this job? · An educational background as Mechanical Engineer. Bachelor or master degree · Knowledge about structural analysis – we are using ANSYS · Experience with bolts and bolt connections would be preferred – but not mandatory · As a person you are outgoing and process-oriented · You are structured and innovative and have the ability to interface at all levels in a dynamic environment · Your approach to task solving is both technically and commercial viable · It’s easy for you to communicate in English – both orally and in writing In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.
