Tasks & responsibilities: You will...

...be responsible for the product HSE assessment in the design phase and ensure that the product complies with legal, MVOW's and the client's HSE requirements, both during the development of new ideas and through the engineering change management. You will also be responsible for developing tools and processes. In all aspects, you will ensure that MHI Vestas meets the standards and legislative requirements and contributes to a strong safety culture. You will be in a team of 4 people where you will coordinate tasks within HSE technology, ensuring that timelines are met and proactive work carried out.

You will also be responsible for:

• Design risk assessment: Facilitate and review to ensure quality and suitability
• Continuous improvement, assessment of cases and engineering change request
• Tools: Review and assessment in development and upgrade phases
• Processes and procedures: Review and assessment of different works to be carried out during the turbine life cycle
• Customer Requirements review

Skills & experience: Our new colleague...

...has a background within mechanical or electrical engineering or HSE as well as knowledge of risk assessment and legislation. You have experience from a construction site and/or manufacturing environment. As a person, you are detail-oriented, pro-active and self-driven, and you have excellent communication skills, enabling you to be tough and firm at the same time as polite and tactful.

• Have knowledge of wind turbines as well as basic mechanical or electrical knowledge
• Possess excellent English skills
