Welcome to Semco Maritime
You will join our Global Tender team of 5 specialists – 2 in Esbjerg and 4 in Singapore. The Tender Team is responsible for all fire fighting tenders and makes sure that they meet the needs of our offshore customers. Our project offers range from DKK 0.5 million to DKK 25 million and cover everything from High Pressure water mist solution to loose supply of various deluge nozzles types.
Delegating responsibilities and driving progress
You know how to coordinate and gather a tender package independently or together with your colleagues, while balancing several tender projects at the same time. Your responsibilities will include:
- Producing commercial and technical proposals for Fire Fighting systems based on customers’ enquiries and requirements
- Finding and documenting the right technical solutions, while engaging with our technical teams, HSEQ, Procurement and other relevant departments
- Preparing potential project risk analyses and working to increase profit margins
- Driving progress to meet deadlines
- Playing an important part in the cooperation between the Sales and Tender functions
You will be part of the tender process from the very outset where you learn about the customer’s needs and until you hand over the signed contract to the project manager who will manage the execution of the new project.
Engaged in continuous learning
We provide courses that help you learn and develop the skills you need to take on the challenges of the tendering process. We will make and develop a competence matrix with you to ensure that you have the competencies required within an international and successful organization.
Technical background and fire fighting knowledge
We expect you to have a technical degree within mechanical engineering. Broad technical skills and Fire Fighting system knowledge are part of your profile. Besides, you have a commercial mindset and communicate effortlessly in Danish and English.
