In Maersk Oil we are in the process of strengthening our Operational Safety Team with five HSE Offshore Superintendents. The team supports all operational aspects of our business: Production, drilling and well service operations. Our focus is on process safety, occupational safety and preventing releases to the environment - Health, Safety and Environment. You will spend most of your time offshore contributing to the continued safe operations of our platforms and rigs in the North Sea, while working in close collaboration with the installation leadership and providing support. Key Responsibilities Your main task is to be a pro-active contributor to the teams who manage and operate our offshore assets. You provide guidance, coaching and feedback to the respective offshore and onshore crews, and implement and monitor all HSE related activities on our offshore installations. Your main responsibilities will be to: Provide on-site safety advice and instructions to all levels of personnel Conduct process and occupational safety coaching Complete on the job training as requested by the Management Ensure that effective and sustainable systems for compliance with requirements from Corporate and Danish Business Unit are implemented and adhered to Promote continued improvements of existing procedures and ensure that these are effectively implemented Perform Incident Investigations offshore Implement HSE campaigns with relevant topics Who we are looking for Someone who can nod to the above. A person who have thorough knowledge of offshore safety standards and best practises – and are able to turn these into meaningful guidance for his/her colleagues. At the same time, you are a skilled communicator with good facilitation skills and understand the importance of good cooperation. You like to engage, inspire and motivate people at all levels in an organisation, and you are self-motivated and know how to organise and prioritise your own daily work tasks. You speak and write English well and are a skilled IT user.
