About the department

As soon as you enter our offices in Bagsværd, we expect you will feel welcome. We share our challenges, but also our victories and celebrations, so you will never feel left alone or in over your head. You will be joining a group of 26 recruiters with a very diverse range of backgrounds – some of us are psychologists, other are trained within completely different fields – but most of us have spent quite a few years making sure that the right jobs find the right people at the right time. In a normal year we recruit ~2000 great new people for Novo Nordisk. 

We are divided into different teams and areas, taking into consideration what kind of jobs, departments or tasks we recruit for. Some of us handle candidate pipelines, some are recruitment experts within certain fields, like IT, engineering or science, and we all drive the process for individual recruitments and participate in talent attraction activities around the country. 

We work out of our offices in Bagsværd, but many of our activities are linked to production facilities, offices or laboratories in Måløv, Kalundborg, Gentofte or one of our many other sites, and sometimes, your presence may be needed there.

 

About the job

You will be leading the Talent Acquisition Partnering team. This team consists of 10 highly skilled and independent Recruitment Partners who are facing the different business units. They develop TA strategies for the areas, they advise management on TA matters and they recruit for the most critical positions. 

It is your responsibility to manage the team’s workload, creating an engaging team spirit, the individual development of the people and delivering on the strategic objectives we have promised the business units.  

You will also be direct responsible for some of the smaller areas to keep you close to the process and the business needs. 

You will be introduced to the organisation, people and processes in a thorough on-boarding programme, where you will learn all you need to know to succeed in Novo Nordisk. We expect that you are motivated for a steep learning curve and are curious to learn about our large and complex organisation.

 

Qualifications

 

You hold a relevant Master’s degree - probably within psychology, business administration, or another field related to HR or recruitment. You have at least 3-5 years of relevant experience that has provided you with the knowledge and feel for recruitment that allows you to create great matches between people, business needs and opportunities. In addition, you also have experience with leading people. 

The challenge in this job, is that we will demand many different – sometimes conflicting - things from you. You need to be close to your team members, but not micro managing them. You need to drive strategy, but also run operational processes yourself. You need to let people take independent decisions, but also step in and decide when needed. 

This makes for a challenging job, but also a fun one. In our small management team for DK we always spar with each other and try to find pragmatic solutions, and we look forward to expanding with a strong addition that can bring new ideas to the table.
