Would you like to be a part of a newly created department that is responsible for establishing a centralised supply chain setup for spares and tools for the world’s largest operator of offshore wind farms? Join us and become Senior Inventory Specialist in the Operations Supply Chain department which is responsible for managing the supply of spares and tools to our wind farms while continuing to develop the department to accommodate to the rapid growth of our portfolio. Operations Supply Chain is part of Wind Power which has 1800 employees and is one of four business units in DONG Energy. Wind Power is the world’s largest developer and operator of offshore wind power, and we use our unique knowledge in all phases of our wind turbine projects. During the last 20 years, we have developed and constructed the largest portfolio of offshore wind farms in Northern Europe. You may choose freely to be based either at our office in Skærbæk near Fredericia or in Gentofte in the Greater Copenhagen area. However, you should expect some travelling in relation to your work. Your key duties will be to •ensure that our new supply chain strategy for inventory handling is implemented in cooperation with our different offshore wind farms •handle the continuous development and improvement of the supply chain processes and SCM competences in the organisation •ensure implementation of a global inventory model •ensure correct master data and facilitate stock counts •enable long term cost reductions. Your qualifications and core competences include that you •have an educational background within engineering, business administration or another relevant area •have experience in supply chain management, preferably within service operations in large international organisations, and experience from the wind power industry will be seen as an advantage •have thorough knowledge of SAP ERP across the business operation and Microsoft Office, especially Excel •have experience working with change management •have a systematic and structured approach to your work •speak and write English fluently, enabling you to communicate effortlessly with your international stakeholders. It is essential that you have strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to navigate in intricate organisational structures and to identify and involve the necessary business stakeholders that will ensure the delivery of the supply chain strategy. Moreover, you are open-minded and result-oriented and prepared to learn about other functional areas. Additionally, you have personal drive and are able to motivate and develop team members, ensuring that we meet the ambitious results and targets defined in our strategy.
