Group Technical Trainer to lead creation of an innovative, technical training universe

 

Development and implementation of an innovative, digital training universe

Do you want to be part of building up and implementing an innovative technical training universe in an ambitious and successful, international organization? And are you motivated by delivering efficient, digital training concepts? As Group Technical Trainer, you will have a unique opportunity to leave your mark and supporting the further global growth of the company.
You will become part of the global sales organization, and you will report to the Sales Director globally. You will be responsible for the development and implementation of an innovative, digital and virtual training universe, that is globally scalable, and that includes all of the current and coming products and technologies in the group.

You will be a pioneer in this area, and your key deliveries are:

• Development and implementation of a digital/virtual training universe, that is globally scalable and includes all current and coming products and technologies, and that delivers synergies with global sales and marketing initiatives
• Development of training programs and curriculums in close cooperation with your colleagues in Global Sales, R&D, IT and Marketing, as well as ensuring global availability and competence in relation to content, methods and practical training
• Hands-on implementation and participation in training programs, seminars, exhibitions, customer events etc.
• Robotic application support to the global sales organization in their pre-sales phase, especially in relation to customer consultancy on robotic applications and deployment of solutions

Technical support and training are delivered by the global Tech Support function, both in the group function and in the regional tech support organizations, and you will have a key role in developing framework and tools for these deliveries.

Extensive experience in global, technical training concepts and technologies

There are several backgrounds that may qualify for this job. You may have a relevant engineering background, or an education within e.g. sales, marketing or IT – as long as it is combined with a solid experience developing and delivering technical training and training concepts. You have extensive knowledge and experience in relation to training technologies, including e-learning, simulations, virtual training concepts etc.

Candidates with experience in delivering technical training on robotic applications or other advanced technology field are preferred. However, you will be developing content in close cooperation with R&D and other product experts, and therefore, the ability to impart technical knowledge and facilitate learning is essential. Training content and materials are delivered in English, and therefore strong English proficiency is equally important.

You navigate easily in a global organization with many internal and external stakeholders across functions and cultures. It is also essential for your success in this role, that you are visionary, able to think ‘out-of-the-box’, but at the same time you are organizing, persistent and efficient in developing and rolling out training programs.
