Would it motivate you to develop and drive a global supplier quality strategy within a high-exposure business segment in a global organisation? Do you have the experience and skills to further develop and sustain a highly effective global organisation embodying both APQP, Supplier Quality and Supplier Development? Then you could be the new Global Supplier Quality Director we are looking for at Danfoss Power Solutions (DPS). You will be the key player who ensures stakeholder satisfaction and internal quality targets across product lines and processes through effective supplier management. You will be playing an active part in the Global Procurement Leadership Team as well as the Global Quality Deployment Team, and ensure that all DPS level directions and decisions are implemented at BU/Divisional level. You will be working from Nordborg and will be referring to our Vice President for DPS Global Procurement. Improve and lead supplier quality management As Global Supplier Quality Director, it will be your overall mission to secure and account for the total quality performance of DPS’ supplier portfolio. We will rely on you to provide strong leadership and constantly communicate clear direction and DPS requirements/deliverables in the field of supplier quality. With your exhaustive experience with Supplier Quality Management and solid leadership skills, you will ensure business effectiveness through application of approved supplier quality management system processes. Furthermore, your areas of responsibility will e.g. include: •Ensure that supplier leadership teams understand and deliver on quality requirements, goals and targets •Ensure supplier readiness through Advanced Supplier quality engineering •Ensure supplier development through Supplier Development teams •Represent Danfoss Power Solutions in internal and external performance reviews relating to supplier quality •Ensure the skills and competences of the Supplier Quality Managers and other supplier quality team members in all business areas •Ensure compliance with all Danfoss and DPS reporting criteria •Personally manage critical/significant supplier quality issues to closure •Inform the GQDT and Global Procurement Leader Team and post regular updates Solid change leadership experience and a heart for quality Your educational background is probably a technical BSc/MSc, and you have exhaustive experience in supplier quality management and profound knowledge of quality standards and quality systems (specific experience from a full scope TS business environment will be considered an advantage). You have experience from developing, implementing and sustaining supplier quality processes in one or more large and international organisations, and you have solid interpersonal and leadership skills. You are dedicated to quality, have an eye for detail, and you are an experienced communicator. DPS is a dynamic, high-performance matrix environment.
