At the moment we are a team of 20 professional Gas traders - and we are looking to strengthen the team with one more.
 
Our Gas trading desk is expanding throughout Europe providing real time optimization, flexibility services and proprietary trading. With our constant market presence we are on top of market changes and we act fast 24/7. This means providing our clients with the market presence they need to ensure their profit.
 
Your responsibilities will include:

   - Grow and expand our spot market activities.
   - Capture market opportunities based on positions and analysis of market conditions 
   - Actively daily trading on exchanges, auctions and OTC markets across Europe 
   - Optimize the value of our asset portfolio
   - Develop and implement trading and hedging strategies for short term trading
   - Maintain an ongoing dialogue with colleagues concerning transactions, prices etc. 
   - Build relationships with market participants.

The ideal candidate will have: 

   - Bachelor’s degree required - MSc in Finance, Mathematics or Economics preferred. 
   - Experience in physical gas markets.
   - Experience in algorithmic trading.
   - Good It-skills: VBA, Excel, C++, Reuters, Bloomberg.
   - Innovative mindset that questions status-quo.
   - Have the ability to reason through logic and keep a cool head working in a hectic environment.
   - Highly motivated, self-sufficient and enthusiastic 
   - Good English skills, written and oral (preferably additional language skills). 
   - Work as a team player and on your own – the members of our team depend on each other. 
   - You are focused on details and have a result-orientated mindset.
