Join DONG Energy and become Financial Analyst or Senior Financial Analyst in Business Partners Markets. The team supports the Vice Presidents in the Markets division with follow-up on the financial statements, forecasting for both the short and the long term, performance management, processing of business cases and ad hoc analysis. Business Partners Markets is part of Customers & Markets which has 1,600 employees and is one of four business units in DONG Energy. We handle the production from our wind farms and oil and gas fields for the energy exchanges and customers in Northern Europe, and we distribute electricity and natural gas to businesses and private customers in Denmark. You will be based at our office in Virum in the Greater Copenhagen area. Areas of responsibility As Financial Analyst, you will be part of a business partner setup that plays an active role in supporting the decision makers throughout our organisation. You will interact closely with the business by making very complex activities easily understandable and ensuring that the value creating activities are in focus. Moreover, you will contribute to creating transparency in earnings for the trading and hedging activities, the major gas sourcing contracts, and the power and gas portfolio optimisation activities, including sourcing of gas in Europe. Furthermore, you will be responsible for preparing the monthly reporting and thereby responsible for the quality of the financials reported to Group management and Group Finance. Finally, you will help create the short-term and long-term financial forecasts. Furthermore, your key duties will be to: •participate in the improvement of our reporting and forecasting systems •handle the process and review of business cases •make ad hoc analyses, eg on margins, costs, and net working capital •facilitate the communication between the business and other Finance departments in the Group. Your profile You hold a relevant master's degree in finance and accounting, economics or equivalent. It will be an advantage if you have experience with financial reporting and controlling. You are a super user of the Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel and PowerPoint, and you are probably also acquainted with SAP, SAS, Oracle Hyperion and SQL queries. Additionally, you have good communication skills, enabling you to present your results in an understandable and professional way to your stakeholders. It is essential that you work systematically, show responsibility and are able to deliver high-quality solutions.
